How to Collect DNA Samples

DNA is found in the hair follicle, which is why it’s essential to use pulled hairs to ensure reliable results. Take 12-15 hairs close to the horse’s skin and pull quickly and evenly. Trimmed or shed hairs collected from brushing can’t be used as they won’t provide the necessary genetic information.

Simple and Fast Process

Our easy process ensures you’ll receive the results you want in just 6-8 weeks. Send your sample along with the form we’ll email you when you order, and soon you’ll have access to all the information and features included in the Pro Package Testing, through a highly intuitive online platform.
